Just thought it would be interesting to see the average # of days most people stay at WDW . We've gone for 3,4,4 and 5 day trips. We always felt it was way too little so this year we're going for 9 days !!! WAHOO ! WDW is a place I'msure you always leave feeling the trip was too short. How about you??

Yea! Our last trip was 5 days and it went by pretty fast. On 'normal' vacations we try to go between 5 and 6 days. But our honeymoon is coming up so we'll be out there for 10 days!!!! Can't wait....:)

Stayed 5 days first time, going for 7 days this time

5-7 days feels about right especially from a wallet perspective

Thanks
Jason

Our first trip was 6 days and we thought that would be more than enough time....HA!

The next few trips we went for 10 days, but that still wasn't enough time.

Our last trip was for 15 days and everyone thought that was a fairly relaxed trip. We're planning 2 more 15 day trips for the next 2 years.

I like 7-10 days...would love to try 21+ is I could afford.

We stay as long as we possibly can. Usually not less than 7 days, this year 11 days for us. I would never leave if it was my choice!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Canykisses- 15 days how awesome !! That sounds like a great length of time. You're probably more relaxed and able to enjoy your resort. Lesser stays you always want to get your park tickets worth so you feel pressured to be at the parks. That long a stay you can really enjoy your hotel and the parks.

I usually go 6 days/5 nights. This next trip will be short--4 days/3 nights. Then my wedding trip/honeymoon will be 10 days/9 nights--oh boy! :sunny:

Our first time was 9 days, then 10, last time was 2 weeks... it was so unbelievable but now if we can't go for that long I feel like it won't be enough! To go for 2 weeks again this year would mean hat we vacationed a MONTH out of the year- quite the perspective huh?

Every trip is getting l - o - n - g - e - r

Last year was 2 weeks... 5 nights Universal & 9 nights Disney

This year is 16 nights!!! 6 nights Universal & 10 Nights Disney

Prior years (the dark ages) no universal and 4 nights Disney - what was I thinking???

>>^..^<<

I'm a novice on these boards (only two WDW trips  ), but here's my history...

First trip we went for three days...NO WAY enough time. We did a day and a half at MK and Epcot (didn't get to AK or MGM at all that trip). The boys were 4 and 6...it was magical, but I was longing for more ;)

Our second trip (this past December) we went for a week. We stayed 6 nights and have 5 days at the parks. It was great. We could have stayed another week!

I'm going for a quick business trip with DH this month for 5 nights, 4 days. I think I will stick to Epcot since I will be solo. We will see...

15 days is nice because we like to 'escape' to the World. It's fun to forget what day of the week it is and even the date.

Another reason we like a long trip is because my husband is paralyzed. Sometimes he needs a break during the day from all the pushing that is required and because he can't regulate his body temperature. Having a longer trip means he doesn't have to overdo. We go to our room for showers and a nap, while the boys can go to their room and do the same, or swim. Makes for a happy group.

We're staying 8 days this time, but normally its only for 6 :)

Never less than 10 days but on the last trip we spent 15 at the AKL. We did feel a little more relax but at the end of the trip realized that we didn't do as much because we were so relaxed!

We usually stay 7 nights at Disney and 4 nights at Universal. My husband can only take so much Disney!

The shortest was about 30 hours, the longest was 11 days.

We also have done 3 days at WDW, 7 days on DCL Magic, 3 days at WDW. In all honesty, by the end of it we were ready to go home.

Average is 7-9 days.

Except for one quickie, surprise weekend trip, our trips have always been between 4 - 7 nights. Usually 7, but once we went on a 2nd trip for the year and stayed Wed-Saturday. It was unplanned and spur of the moment. We had a great time. We always try to do 1 week long trip per year, and maybe a shorter one if time/$$ allows. Last year was the first year in quite awhile where we only took one trip.

I hear about people going for two weeks and I'm so jealous. That sounds wonderful. Seems you would have plenty of time to relax. We can't do that because I only get 2 weeks vacation and that would wipe me out in one swoop.

You know, this work thing is getting in the way of my personal life. 2 weeks vacation just doesn't cut it.

Our average stay is usually 8 days.

We have gone from 5 to 16 days depending on the season.

However, we are NEVER ready to leave!:(
