It all depends. We usually go 2-3 times a year. Sometimes we stay 11-14 nights. We like to do the waterparks, so I usually buy the 10-day non exp. park hopper that has 10 fun days too. We usually make that last a few trips, so we definetly do not go into the theme parks everyday. Now we LOVE the parks, but we also LOVE hanging out at Disney!!! Visiting the other resorts to pick up favorite snacks that we can ONLY get at that resort....zebra domes at the AKL and beinets at POFQ to name a few, kids have outgrown playing in the fountains at DTD, but we always use to have to spend a few hours there on two different mornings as well as pick up our favorite peanut butter chocolate chip cookie at Goofys Candy store. Renting boats and bikes and riding the monorail and pin trading are all things we enjoy on our "off days". When we stay at Fort Wilderness, we can spend days right there. Honestly when we are home and missing Disney, we miss doing ALL of our favorite things as well as the theme parks pretty equally. However, I have to say that on our shorter stays of a week or less, we do more park days and try to fit the other stuff in, in the afternoons.
