How many days do the Thanksgiving crowds linger?

We are efforting a trip to the world late Nov./early Dec. 2006...just wondering... I assume it's busy Thanksgiving weekend, but how soon after the weekend does it begin to thin out?

I have to agree with everyone else who posted - we've gone the last three years the Monday after Thanksgiving and the parks weren't crowded at all.

I've heard that its not too busy the monday after thanksgiving, but the more and more that i read on these boards people are now claiming it will be very busy. We are going nov 28-12/4. Anybody got anything to add?

i believe that by monday, the crouds would signifigantly decrease. as the week goes on, it would get less and less crouded.

Thats when we are going, 11/25-12/03. We are hoping for LOW crowds. Our first park day isnt until the 27th. We are starting with AK that day.

Well Nov. 27 thru Dec. 19 is "Value" season as far as the disney resorts pricing is concerned so i wouldny worry about crowds . I booked a room at POP on Nov 29 for 64.00. You might also check the hours for the MK and see what time they close. The earlier they close, the less crowded they expect it to be.

Yes, we were there the first week of Dec., the week right after Thanksgiving a few years ago. It was really great because there were hardly any crowds and all the Christmas decorations are up and the holiday festivities are in effect. It is a very nice time to go, I know you will enjoy it.

Hoping, hoping, hoping it won't be too crowded then. We arrive Nov. 26 but our first park day will be Monday the 28th and we are going to MK. We are starting the day with the KTTK tour. After it's over, we'll gauge the crowd level and decide whether to stay or hop to another park. Either way will be okay since we can be flexible and we know we will find Disney magic wherever we wind up!
