How many days can you spend at SW/Aquatica?

We are going to Orlando for two weeks. We already have 1 week passes to Universal (this will be our 3rd time). I was thinking about also getting one week passes to Seaworld/Aquatica.

Honestly, how many days can you spend there? Will we enjoy going for a whole week? Our kids are 11, 8, 5, 2 and 3 months old. Ok, maybe what I should be asking is whether me, the mommy, can really handle that many days of theme park happiness with all those kids.....

Seaworld/Aquatica tickets are a pretty great deal, especially with the SWA discount.

I am wondering the same thing. My partner and I are going to Orlando for 9 days in June to keep my Mom company in the evenings while she's at a conference.

We're getting 7 day passes to Universal/IOA and SeaWorld/Aquatica. I haven't been to any of these parks before.

My tentative plan is to hit a park each day before opening, stay until lunchtime, head back to the hotel for some downtime and then do something in the evening.

With little ones, your evenings would probably be a lot earlier than mine. However, I think a similar plan would work well for your family. If you are going during the summer, 2-3 hours of heat and crowds may be all your family can take anyway.

I'm renewing our passports for SeaWorld today, and adding Aquatica

You can easily spend 2 days at SeaWorld to catch it all. The shows are definitely worth it. The kids park is awesome for a mommy break, and fully enclosed. The water part was closed last time we went, but should be operational again, so bring swimsuits. Save it for last, because the little ones have to be dragged off the playground lol

Make sure to catch the 9pm Shamu rocks!

Afternoon heat hits around 1 and lasts til 4 or longer.... not sure when you're coming... once we start hitting around the 90's, we get the afternoon thunderstorms to cool things down a bit. (June - September).


Both parks should allow you to go back to the hotels to rest up and re enter the park later.

We just got back before Easter from our umpteenth trip to SeaWorld and we went 5 days in a row. If it hadn't rained on the sixth, we would have gone back. There is a lot to do there. My daughter is 8 and LOVES animals, and there are so few places to see the types of animals they have at Seaworld.

We either started the day at opening time and stayed 4-5 hours, or went after lunch for 4-5 hours. While

One day we did the rather costly VIP tour for her birthday. Behind the scenes, lunch in the Cove before the BELIEVE show, got to pet a penguin and feed dolphins, sting rays and seals/sea lions. We never even made it to Disney!

I think it depends on who is going. My daughter is not a huge fan of the rides, but she did enjoy the Shamu Harbour, which is the kid's section with child friendly rides and a nursing/rest area.

I got the annual pass for me in order to have the FREE parking. Otherwise, we would have been eaten up in parking fees. That also gave me a good discount for any food (people or animal), merchandise and tours. My daughter just got the FunPass.

We're SEA WORLD nuts, though, and it may not appeal to everyone as much as us! Enjoy.

Instead of buying the 7 day unlimited pass for UO and IOA and the 7 day unlimited pass for SW and Aquatica, you may want to consider buying the Orlando Flex Ticket which is good for unlimited access for 14 days to both of the Universal parks, Seaworld, Aquatica, and Wet N Wild. There is also the Flex Ticket Plus which adds Busch Gardens Tampa for about $40 more...

Aquatica is great! We have been twice since it opened in March.

I think you can easily spend two days at Sea World and Aquatica you can spend as much time as you like. It really just depends on your family.

The Orlando Flex Ticket includes unlimited admissions to Wet N Wild, Sea World, Aquatica, US, and IOA for 14 days rather than 7. I like the flexibility so I don't have to have a Seaworld week and a US week...

Thanks for the input. I ended up buying the separate week passes to Seaworld/Aquatica and Universal. I did consider getting the Orlando Flex pass, just for the flexibility, but it did cost enough extra (times 5 passes....) that I decided not to.

We are getting excited about visiting Seaworld/Aquatica for the first time. I think we will go to at least two days of each, maybe more. We leave in about 4 days!
