How many days at waterparks?

We are going in June. It's been 10 years since we were at the waterparks and now I'm not sure how much time we should spend there. We are staying at CSR and love their pool/slide but also got the waterparks and more added to our 6 day base tickets. We have 7 days at WDW. I have my fastpasses booked, but i am curious how often everyone else goes to their hotel pool and waterparks. We like to take afternoon breaks most days and usually go to the pool every other day. I'm just not sure how long/often to go to the waterparks. My girls like slides, but only the tame ones and the wave pool and lazy river.

We (DD9 DD11) usually go to Disney for 7-10 days, and hit the hotel resort pool in the afternoons or evening almost every day (sounds similar to your strategy -- we also leave the parks in the afternoon to avoid the crowds). For water parks, my strategy was to hit the water park at opening, do the slides and wave pool for 4-5 hours, then get cleaned up for dinner and evening FP+ at the park of your choice. If my girls had their choice, we'd probably do this every single day, but I can only climb the water slide steps 10,000 or so times before my legs protest :) For a trip of 7 days, since you've been to the World so many times, I would suggest 2 days of water parks (one day each).
