I didnt even realize there was a universal board on this site? Anyway... we are going in sept. Thinking of either spending 1 or 2 days at universal. We will have 7 full days in orlando (and going to all the disney parks). I want to include lots of down time since we will have our 1 and 3 yr olds with us. We have only been to IOA before.. does the other park have a lot to do? We were last there in sept 09 and it wasn't crowded at all (only harry potter world was a little crowded) If we do a half day at universal park and a full at IOA do you think that would be enough time? Also... is Ironman at the park? My son loves him!

Thanks!

I would do 2 days of USF and IOA. There is a lot to do in USF. There is no Iron Man ride but there is the Marvel Super Hero area at IOA with Spiderman and The Incredible Hulk coaster. In USF there is The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Shrek 3D, Revenge of the Mummy, ET, Men in Black and a lot of shows. Unfortunately, Jaws just closed so the whole Amity area of USF is now closed

We find 2 days is more than enough for us. We go early, check in for one night and get FOTL passes for two days then head back to our favorite parks!:goodvibes

And I was just wondering the same thing. I have 2 day (1-park-per-day) passes to US/IoA and 4-day MYW base tickets for WDW.

At the moment, I have us booked for dinner at Epcot the afternoon we arrive, since Epcot is open until 9:00. We could get there as early as 1:00 but not much earlier. But I would rather have a full day at Epcot, since it is my favorite park and the kids are finally old enough to enjoy it properly. So I'm thinking of postponing Epcot and doing a half-day at USO, instead. It closes earlier but maybe we could do dinner at city walk? We have not been to USO before, so don't know what sort of crowd levels to expect. It's the first weekend in Feb.

We are doing a full day at IoA because my kids will want to live at Hogwarts and I hear Harry Potter World is equal to the best of MK. True?
