If you have been to DL with kids lately, would you recommend 3 or 4 days? 3 was enough for us in the past, but busy, and now that Toon Town and Fantasmic are available again, I am considering whether we need another day. Thanks.

I think 2 days - 1 in each park is your best bet for a good time at Disneyland. You can start DCA a bit later… and do a full day at Disneyland… plus if you wish, you can check out Downtown Disney in between the two. This is a strategy I’m attempting…
Not enough info. When you say "in the past," when was that? Since you mention ToonTown and Fantasmic being available again, it sounds like the last time you visited was at least 3 years ago.
How many people and what are the ages of the people in your party? What kind of pace do you like to keep while in the parks? What are your priorities - rides, entertainment, dining, etc. What time of year are you planning on visiting?
It was about 4 years ago that we went, in the post-Covid era. We will probably have a late spring trip. We will have elementary-aged kids and a teenager with us. We do the character greetings, rides (especially kid-friendly ones), and most of the entertainment. Probably no fancy restaurants, though we tend to take our time over meals. I would say we are mid-paced; we can do a lot, but we're not rope drop people and need breaks sometimes.
