how many dates did you have

Not many. People thought I was stuck up but in reality I was just shy.
One of my classmates said all her friends thought I was stuck up. She said, no, she's just shy. LOL! Funny how that gets misinterpreted.

I was such a loser in high school and never talked to anyone, so I don't even know how I managed to get asked out so many times...
high school was awful!
High school had to be my least favorite time. I was such a wall flower. :lmao: The last time we had a reunion roll around, the cute guy freshman year that my parents wouldn't let me date asked if I was going. I told him no. I didn't like these people while we were in high school. Why on earth would I want to go to a reunion? :confused3 Never been to one, never will be. :teeth:

I actually only had 2 dates. One was with my "boyfriend" that my parents forced me to break up with the next day. The other was a guy a few years older who thought he was going to get in my pants on the first date. Thank god people came in and asked him what he was doing. That pretty much sums it up. Oh i forgot i was driven by my mom to both of my proms. One guy wanted me to go to after propm with him, i realized once we were in his car he was plastered. So another horrible date.

I'm with you Pop Daddy. I did not have a single date the entire 4 years. I figure the reason was because none of the guys thought of me that way. i was always the one they would come to when they were having problems with a girlfriend.

hmm let's see- dated the same guy for 3 years- broke up twice during that time- and during those breaks there were 4 other guys. I made up for that in college though!:rolleyes1

That's me! I didn't get along with anyone in high school and couldn't stand the thought of seeing them now. Needless to say, I did not date in high school. It was terrible then but now I will be able to use the fact to my advantage -- when my own daughter askes about dating I will be able to tell her honestly that her mother didn't date until after high school (and then I will purposely leave out my college experiences :scared1:)

Add me to the way to many list.

I'd say I had a minimum of 10 boyfriends if not more. Yeah I know me bad!

I had my first date when I was in 6th grade to the Jane Ryan Elementary School Spring Fair....and so it began.....

Mine was in the 5th grade- we went to the local ice skating rink. My mom drove, and we sat in the backseat and held hands. Ah, youth!!:rotfl:

Lol that's probably why they all thought you were stuck up.

Zero. After HS, 2 dates with 1 guy in college. After that, zero. Still today, zero. Talk about frustrating...

And while we're at it, I want to know: When did it become okay to simply not respond at all, if a girl asks you out (even if it's done online)?

I was in a serious relationship, with a much older guy, for all of HS. We actually dated over six years until I finally came to my senses. I missed out on a lot of what HS was all about because of him.
In a do over I would like to have dated lots of different guys my age.

Well, there are 52 weeks in a year and 4 years of high school.....So I'd say I went on hundreds of dates. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao: It was my hobby. I tired of guys very quickly and I wouldn't keep dating someone just for the sake of having a date. That wasn't fair to either of us. I'd do the, "It's not you, it's me," speech and we'd go our separate ways. Because it REALLY was me. They could hold the interest of most other girls, just not me. So I figured we might as well both get on to dating the next people, since we might "click" with that person. If I wasn't "going steady" with a particular guy, I might date several guys at once and that added up. One Friday, another Saturday, another on Sunday. I just liked meeting people, going out and having fun. A lot of guys, I just dated once or twice and that was it.

But when DH came along, I'd dated enough guys to know a keeper when I saw one. :thumbsup2

Being a girl, dating was easy. A guy asked and you accepted or declined. I felt bad for the guys. The one or two times I had to ask a guy to a banquet, (because it was a girls' organization) I really didn't like it. They accepted, and one turned out to be a case of "be careful what you wish for," but the asking was not a lot of fun.

I was a really late bloomer in high school, so I only actually had one b/f. I don't think I got my hips or chest until I was nearly 18. Once I got to college though, that's when it all started for me...

Still am dating too!

I was going to say hundreds!!! But most of those dates were with the same person...my now DH of 20 years!

By "dates" do you mean people or # of times you went to the movies, etc?

I started dating at end of Freshman year and had one steady boyfriend after another until I started dating DH when I was a Junior in HS.

So mark me down for 100s of dates!

Gee, I'll have to dig in the old memory bank.....:rotfl2:

Half of my jr. year, I did have one exclusive boyfriend and that cut down on the number of guys, but I rarely stuck with anyone for long. I can't remember half the guys I went out with, since so many of them only lasted 1-2 dates. I guess in a month, I could date 1-2 guys or 4-5.....depends on the month. Summertime was busy, what with the lake and 7 days a week of potential dating. :lmao::thumbsup2:rotfl: The sky was the limit in summer. If I was dating a guy exclusively, we'd go out 2-3 times a week.

So seriously....I have absolutely NO idea how many guys I dated in high school. Dozens and dozens and dozens. I was young, saw no need to be tied down and as I said, I loved to go out. I hated to stay home. I could count the number of Fridays and Saturdays that I did not have a date or double date on one hand. What can I say? My high school years were very good to me. :cool2:

I started dating my fiance in December of my freshman year of high school. Haven't dated anyone else since.

Now we're getting married

Zero. I didn't date at all until I got into college. The guys who showed ANY interest in me were not guys I was interested in. It was really rough for me.

I had a lot of dates but only dated 3 guys. One I dated for over 2 years during my Junior and Senior yrs and into 1st semester of college. He was several years older than me too. We even went out a couple of times after I graduated from college but then I met DH.
