How many Christmas trees ??

Two. One in the living room and one in the basement family room. Both are "narrow" because we have a small house.

The last couple of years we've put them up the day after Thanksgiving, but this year we're going to wait until mid-December. I've found that if they're up too long we stop "noticing" them, if you know what I mean. They just become part of the background instead of something we truly enjoy. AND they still take up quite a bit of space, even though they're narrow.

"I put up 10 ( counting large and small ones) .. I have one 7 ft one up and dercrated now another one going up this week-end.."

Are you kidding?! You have a Christmas tree up NOW?! That's more than 2 months before Christmas! You gotta be kidding!

We have our one main big tree in the family room and we have a little fiberoptic one that sits on the window bench in the kitchen that I decorate with "snow".

We enjoy starting the Xmas decorating right after Thanksgiving. Putting up tress and decorating the house too early takes away the fun and spirit of it imho.

wow - someone to understand my obsession! I put up "my" artificial tree - purple and gold - in the living room. In the sunroom, we put up an 8 ft live tree with all the "family" ornaments. In the dining room bay window I put up a small (5 ft) tree decorated in blue, "snow", and silver. I have a small gold metal "tree" stand that my collectibles (Rhyn-Rivet) go on. My DD has her own in her bedroom - went from a 1 1/2 ft to a 4 ft last year. Sometimes I put up a small tree with Hallmark minis on it. This year I really want to get one of those snowy white trees to do something like a red theme. I also want to get something for the hallway like the sets of three rustic trees or something.

It takes alot of time, but I love the results.

This year we have a trip to WDW planned for the week after Thanksgiving - so I will cut back this year.

I usually have about 9 trees. One big one in the Living Room, a series of 2-4 foot trees in the kitchen window and on the end tables in the family room and finally a 5 foot Disney themed tree in my office. I also have garland along the railing of the stairs, 3 fireplace mantles to decorate and christmassy potpourri lingering in the back ground! We should pull this thread up after Thanksgiving and post pics of our decorations! Wouldn't that be fun?

I usually have two family trees. One live tree in the living room and a fake one in the family room. The 3 kids usually have their own 3 ft fake ones in the bedrooms with ornaments they have collected. Last year was the first time I the fake trees up before Thanksgiving and I loved it! It was so nice to see the all the lights sparkling at Thanksgiving. That was also the first time with my new pre lit 9 footer. It is a beautiful tree! This year I am no putting the live one up at all. Just the big fake one in the family room. It is going up the weekend before Thanksgiving again!

My new neighbor puts up 30 trees! She has to take off work for a week to get them all put up and decorate. I thought she was nuts, I had never heard of anyone putting up more then 1 tree. But now I am thinking of having 2 trees this year.

Just one, but I get it the day that the trees first come out or the day after. I love decorating it and my daughter is now into helping mommy put up decorations and is already telling me about leaving a treat for Santa.

I put up one big fake tree and then I have a small fiber optic tree and a ceramic tree - all Christmas decorations go up the weekend after Thanksgiving and never before.

Hey Taikwando Mom! YOU GO GIRL!!! :Pinkbounc :cool1:

I Have a 7' tree that takes quite a while to put together but I don't want to wait till the day after Thanksgiving but I have been :confused3 wondering just how early I could get away with putting it up. I have two other trees to put up also-one on the front porch and one??? I will (for the sake of I don't know what wait till after halloween) to start putting the trees together.
