 Hi All,
I am planning on making an autograph book for my 4year old DD for our trip on October 22. I'm trying to figure out how many pages I need to make so just curious to know about how many characters on average will you see in a 6 day period? I have ADR's for 5 character dining (1900 PF breakfast and Cinderalla's dinner, Ohana's, Donald's Breakfastosaurus, Akerhaus Dinner in Epcot). We will be hitting all the parks...

Thanks
Sharon

We've gotten 50 unique autographs as well as some repeats on each of our two trips. My kids are character fanatics, though, and meeting characters was equally important to going on rides for them. Have fun!

Here are the ones that I remember seeing:
Mickey, safari Mickey
Minnie, safari Minnie
Goofy, safari Goofy, spaceman Goofy
Donald, safari Donald
Stanley
Rafiki
Lilo
Stitch
Timon
Pinocchio
Gepetto
the 2 "bad" guys from pinnochio
Tweedle Dee and Dum
Chip and Dale
Pluto, Spaceman Pluto
Buzz lightyear
Woody
Queen of Hearts
Alice
Mad Hatter
White Rabbit
Cinderella
Snow White
Arel
Princess Aurora
Jo Jo
Golith
Mr and Mrs Incredible
Brer Rabbit
Brer Bear
Brer Fox
Pooh
Tiger
Piglet
Eeyore
Mike-picture only
Sully-picture only
Jesse
Friar Tuck

I think 50 is a fair number, especially with all the character dining you'll be doing. We had about 50 last week, but some of those were repeats, which Caroline doesn't mind having in her book.

I think my DD11 & DS8 each got about 60-70 autographs during our 9 day trip in May....but some of those were repeats. We did 5 or 6 character meals.

Not sure if you are doing blank pages or pre decorating for specific charcters. Hugsforeeyore has a great site: http://home.att.net/~disneysue/characters/wdw/disneycharacters.html

It says they have 155 characters (some do not autograph) while there is no way you will see them all in one trip, it does give you an idea who is out there. I agree in the 50 range is probably accurate unless they are going to want Mickey (or any other character) every time they see them.

Enjoy

I have probably left some out, but this is all the ones I can think of that we saw in 5 days. And we got autographs of the main guys, Mickey and firends, at all 4 parks. Plan on bunches of characters.

I just got back and did the homemade book for DD. Many characters and CMs commented on how nice it was so DD was really thrilled.

She is a huge princess fan so I did a page for each princess. We also had ADRs for CP and CM so I did pages for the main characters there too.

Then I got tags and punched mickey heads and put a ribbon through. When we saw a character not in the book we had them sign the tag and will make a page for them when we complete the book. We saw Alice and I just said "oh we didn't know we would be so lucky to meet you would you please sign the tag so we can create a special page for you when we get home?" She smiled very sweetly and told DD has wonderful the book was and of course she'd sign the tags.

We bought an oversized mickey pen from the dollar store and the characters with gloves went nuts for that pen. DD wanted to give it to Tigger and Donald because "they loved it so much and made them happy". We had colored pens for the princesses.

I am not creative, so we used the standard books. However, using another Diser's tip, we had the character sign only the right page. On the left I glued in a picture of the kids with the character who signed.

I can't tell you how much character interaction the kids got because of that. Aladdin looked through it and poked Jasmine, "Hey look, here you are from last year!" He spent a lot of time poking through the book. Captain Hook and Smee, Alice in Wonderland, Belle...all of them just thought having the picture with the signature was so cool. Chip took the book all through Garden Grill, showing everyone the pictures.

Staying off-site I was able to develop the pictures every night and keep it up to date.
