How many can sleep in wlv?

We're going with extended family, so we'll be a party of 9 (4 kids). We loved wl when we were a smaller party, but we won't fit in their rooms. Last time we all went to POR and shared two connecting rooms - crowded. We're looking into wlv or akv for our next trip in 2012. I see that akv say you can sleep 9 in a 2 bedroom but wlv say 8. I'm assuming the difference is the "sleeping chair" in the sitting area. My 4 year old would be fine on an air mattress in a bedroom - is that a "legal" thing to do? Any info would be appreciated!

You are correct, VWL only sleeps 8 no room for the pull out chair. 8 is the maximum occupancy listed at VWL.

That's what I was figuring. Btw, after rereading it sounded as if I was trying to get by with something . . . I wasn't. I was just trying to see if we needed to rule wlv . . . something I didn't want to do since that area is a fav.

Can you add the price of a studio? With at least one adult in it, you'll all have a place to gather and you can spread out a bit!

when are you going?

blt standard view is the same points as VWL. that said standard view is the hardest to get at BLT - so you need a member you will work with you.

blt has like AKV - 3 bathrooms in a 2-bedroom and will sleep 9.

now if you like the way VWL looks and not where it is located - then AKV is definitely the way to go.

OP, keep in mind that a 2 bedroom at OKW also sleeps 9 and that 2 bedroom unit is huge! That is where we head when the group is larger. Having the huge patio/balcony with tables and chairs to eat breakfast just adds to the living space.

I second this idea. We have stayed in other 2 bedroom units, but OKW is always the most comfortable for a large group. Frankly, I'd probably not do 9 in a 2 bedroom anywhere, but a t least at OKW you will have plenty of space, and everyone will be comfortable. The only down side of OKW is that there are still only 2 bathrooms. A stay at AKV/Kidani would give you beds for 9 plus an additional third bath.

OKW added the sleeper chair to the 1 and 2 BR's during the recent renovations so there are now sleeping accommodations for 9. Only 2 bathrooms at OKW though compared to 3 at AKV and BLT.

Yes, the OKW resort rehab was finished earlier this year. All 1 & 2 bedroom units now have the sleeper chair.

Online is out of date. The recent planner has the newest information. Not sure about the 2011, but the 2012 is updated with the information. Yes the extra bathroom at AKV and BLT is nice, or the extra space at OKW is nice too. We've done the 2 bedroom at BLT but it is small, esp. compared to OKW. Either one is great!

SSR, VWL, BCV, BWV all are too small to add the sleeper chair.
