How many bring there own pillows on trips

DH and I bring our pillows anywhere we travel. I find it is harder to sleep without the familar scent that is on my pillow. Plus, I need a place to stow my own blankie!

I brought both of our kids pillows. I put them in a space bag & got the air out! They don't sleep well w/o them! :)

We used to... but since the Swan/Dolphin have the most incredible HEAVENLY FEATHER PILLOWS available *(and hypoallergenic foam too), we no longer have the need. We do, however, bring our own pillow cases. ;) We also stay at other resorts, but all are very nice and carry beautiful deluxe feather pillows too.

*DisneyPhD ~Swan/Dolphin have the most beautiful DUVETS, covering the heavenly down quilted bed covers! :goodvibes

If I was able to drive to WDW, I would bring all my pillows. Seeing that I take the plane, I bring a tiny pillow. I use a few of these pillows at home, too. They are good for extra back support. They are only 10 inch square, and really inexpensive at the craft stores.
I carry mine in the carry-on, and use it on the plane for comfort at my elbow.

I always prefer my own pillows. However, when dh and I fly, I just make do with what's there. When we take our children, we always drive; so I take my pillows then.

Been taking my buckwheat pillow there for years, whether its by car or train, my wife can sleep on a log but not me. First thing in my suitcase and its about 10 extra pounds, but worth it!

I took my own pillow to WDW for the first time on our last trip and I slept so much better. I put it in a large size packmate and squished all the air out and slid it in the bottom of my suitcase.

Ilovestitch,

What a great idea! Can you only buy them online? I'm going to Florida in four weeks to see my parents and it would come in very handy.

I've purchased them on QVC. You can go to QVC.com and look for them there.

Me! I take mine with me everywhere I go. It's a "flatty" and those are hard to find in hotels. My husband makes fun of me but then contemplates trying to steal it from me in the middle of the night.

We did because we drove. If we flew, I'd only bring our own pillowcases. My youngest DD is allergic to dustmites, so she has to have a special pillowcase!

I feel the same way! When I go down the shore I am glad to have my nice flat pillow and can't sleep as well on the big fluffy ones (they give me stiff necks as well!). Hopefully it'll fit in my suitcase on my upcoming trip ::MickeyMo

This is too funny. I was just thinking of how I was gonna pull this one off...Now no more wondering...Thanks... :rotfl:

We always bring our pillows and we bring a fitted sheet as well (hate those unfitted hotel bottom sheets!)

Just curoius who brings all of their pillows with them. I have a tempur pillow that I can't sleep with out and my wife brings two pillows. Our car will be a sea of pillows! :rotfl2:
We used to. Then one trip I left our pillows in the hotel room and didn't remember until we got home. Hubby won't let me take our own anymore! LOL :confused3

I would if I drove, but since we fly, I do not. It would take one huge suitcase just for my pillows. I use 3. One for my head, one to wrap my arms around and one between my knees. Guess I'll have to use hubby's leg for that on the trip. :)
