Do you read in a week?

On a good week (not busy; in the mood to read; not tired when it's time for bed; etc.) I'll read as many as 5 books..

On a bad week, maybe 2 to 3..

.

Wow 5 in a good week, and 2 to 3 in a bad? I'm lucky to read 1 in a good week. I'm just not that fast of a reader.

Usually 2 to 3 books depending on the length of the books.

I've read some great books this week and I'm just whipping through them.

I probably go through 5 to 10 books per week depending on the length. I'm very thankful for the public libraries and for some people that I trade paperbacks with.

I've always loved to read.. Learned how to read before I started school and it's just something that has always stuck with me.. I always make sure I have a big supply of books on hand and in a week or two will be ordering a bunch of books on-line for my birthday..:thumbsup2

If I'm reading brain candy like Dean Koontz or other bestseller type of paperback I can go through 3 or so, but that's just reading in the evenings. If it's more difficult or meaty, maybe 1-2 a week.

I'm an extremely fast reader. I can read a paperback in a day if I spend the day doing it.

When on vacation I chew through at least 1 per day. Usually 1-2 on the weekends. I try not to read during the week. I have a hard time putting the book down and trying to work all week and stay up all night reading doesn't work out too well.

I love to read, I just don't have any time. The only reading I do is when I'm waiting for one of my kids at practice. I make sure I have a book in the car all the time, but it still takes me forever to read it because I only read a few pages at a time. I'd be thrilled to be able to read even one book a week.

I never liked to read as a kid and it was probably due to some learning disabilities. However, I discovered reading because of the Harry Potter books, yes I'm one of millions who can say that, but it worked for me. I read while on the train commuting to work, 2 hours a day, and sometimes at lunch. So depending on the book I can get through one in a week.

I have been working on the same book since Christmas  I am one of those people that has a lot of trouble sitting down and focusing on reading. It really went downhill since I've discovered the Disboards!!

I can average 2 books a day if I'm having a lazy day. I have been known to read 3 or more in a day if I'm traveling.

I used to read 5-6 a week, but it's been a while since I've done that.

I've gotten away from reading and now I'm lucky if I read one book every two weeks.

It depends. Normal life, when I have school and all that, it takes me between 2 weeks to a month to read a book (depending on the book and the length). When I'm on vacation, I can go through 2 or 3 books in a week or 10 days.

This summer when I was off work, I read one book a day (they were light, "brain candy" as someone said earlier).

But now that school has started back up, I'm lucky if I get a chapter in a night before I fall asleep.

On a good week, I read 30 pages of a book. lol

On a bad week. None.

I am still working full time and have a little one. So, there is never enough time to read 5 books a week.

What good books have you read though? I am always looking for a good one.

at least 3 a week (I have an hour and a half commute to and from work, so I need something to keep the movement of the bus from rocking me to sleep), but sometimes as many as five. Really depends on how riveted I am to the book.

Reading is like breathing to me, it's just part of who I am

I vary - either one a week or one will take me several weeks.

I take my 91 year-old mother to the library to pick out large-print books. She usually gets 5-6 books. Some she doesn't finish if they don't interest her (or if the language is too "colorful"!)

We also get a book every month from Zooba.
