I had to change my ressies from September to the beginning of November. Am definitely planning on staying at the CBR, and have the other ressie at POFQ (going for 16 days). I was just curious how low the rates get at the beginning of November, especially at the Deluxe resorts. Was thinking of maybe trying the Contemporary, Polynesian or Boardwalk, if I could get a really great rate. Thanks!!!

The rooms are already discounted to the value season rate. If still available you might try for a Disney Club Rate (15% off on Deluxe, I think) or a AAA rate. I called in January of last year and could not get a DC rate at the resort we wanted (POFQ) in November. We did end up with an AP rate of $89.00 at POFQ and then were switched to AKL Savannah when PO closed. AP rates and great deals were a gift last year. 9/11 had something to do with that. We don't usually get AP rates for October, November and December. I think Disney will probably wait and see how attendance is this year before they make their decision, but that's only a guess.

Maybe someone has some info about rate prior to 2001.

Good luck!
