Have a Crystal Palace reservation Saturday 11-24 at 835. What time do we need to leave MK in order to get to Epcot for a 10:15 fastpass for Test Track

Yeah, I wouldn't try this. I assume you're going to Crystal Palace specifically for the character interaction since there are plenty of other good breakfast options in Epcot. That means you'll want to get your money's worth and have the full experience with the characters, not be rushed, etc. That would be tough to do if you're constantly stressing about leaving in time to make the FP+ over in Epcot.

I'd change the Crystal Palace reservation to something in Epcot. Garden Grill, maybe? If you could get an 8:00am there, you could conceivably be done by park opening at 9am, go straight to Soarin' and get it knocked out, stop by Living with the Land before exiting that pavilion, and then still have time to get to Test Track.

Disclaimer: I'm not sure how long Garden Grill takes as the last time I ate there I was about 10 years old. And if you don't really care about Soarin' or have no desire to eat at Garden Grill, ignore my suggestion completely, LOL.

is 10:15 the start time of the FP or the end. If it is the end time, I agree with the posters above that it is too condensed a time window as I would allow for 45 minutes at minimum for transport from leaving MK and reaching Epcot. If that is the start of the FP time, then I think you are ok as you could have a 90 minute leisure breakfast with character interaction and have 75-90 minutes to make it to Epcot for the FP.

Leave MK by 10:30.

If the FP is at 10:15 you have the 1 hour window plus a 15 min grace period- so until 11:30 to use it.

Using Disney transport, I’d feel ok giving myself 60 minutes.

I personally wouldn't spend that much valuable early park time traveling, eating, then traveling again. However if that's the route you want to take, I'd aim to leave MK by 9:45am. You'll want to give plenty of time for transportation.

I agree that you're burning about 45 minutes to an hour of travel time in order to get on Test Track. If Crystal Palace is important enough to you, just go single-rider line to Test Track later in the day. You would be able to get on more rides at Magic Kingdom before it gets too crazy busy, and will not worry about rushing to get your fastpass window.

Another option is pushing your Test Track FP to later in the day. It shouldn't be a problem this far out.

Thanks. The time frame is 1015/1115. We have never been to disney before but feel we can't do Sorin. We do plan to do Living with the land.

I would be walking out of MK by 10:00 am, but, as others have said, that's a lot of traveling to do a breakfast and then get on a ride. You mention you have never been to WDW, so perhaps aren't aware of how long it takes to travel around the property which is bigger than Manhattan. You will need to travel to MK, go through security, walk down Main St. to Crystal Palace then walk back down Main St., exit MK, board a monorail, transfer to another monorail and go through security again, then walk to TT. Is there any way you can change CP to a day you will spend in MK?

With it being your first time, just slow down and enjoy what the parks have to offer. Either cancel the dining reservation or move the FPs to MK. There are over 20 rides at MK to sit back and enjoy.
The first time you walk into Epcot, you'll want to be able to stop and literally smell the flowers, view the fountains etc, and not have to worry about rushing to make a FP reservation in time.

Yes, you could make the FP+ time, especially since they'll let you in until 11:30 or so, but I would still try to schedule the CP breakfast on an MK day instead of going to MK for breakfast and then immediately leaving to head to Epcot for a FP+. It's just not a very efficient use of time, as you'll be spending a good chunk of your morning traveling to and between parks instead of enjoying one park and all it has to offer and then hopping to another park later in the day. You'll be leaving MK, waiting for a monorail, heading to TTC where you'll have to switch monorails, then you'll get to Epcot, have to go through security during a peak time (late morning), and then will be making a bee line to Test Track to make that FP+.

Now, maybe that all sounds fine and good to you, but I'd hate for your first trip to WDW to be rushed and exhausting due to less-than-ideal scheduling. But it's your call. Just remember that hopping from MK to Epcot is likely to take 45 minutes or so.

ETA: Why do you think you cannot do Soarin'? Motion sickness? I have trouble with simulator rides and motion sickness, and Soarin' doesn't bother me at all. It's a lovely ride, and much less "thrilling" and "extreme" than Test Track. Just FYI. :)

Waste of park time doing this. Do GG breakfast instead. It's a better experience unless you really need Pooh bear, who you may never see given the character interaction at CP is minimal.

If you've never been to Disney before, I would never recommend hopping around like this just for a meal. Use that time fully experiencing the parks instead by scheduling meals in the parks you plan to be in.

I would say the same. A Garden Grill breakfast would be better. We had one at 8:30, arrived at 8:15, finished about 9:15, went on Soarin waited 15 minutes, went to Frozen and walked on, then made our Test Track Fastpass at 10:30. IF you are set on Crystal Palace then I would say do it on an MK day. If you don't like Garden Grill and want a character breakfast look into Akershus too

I'd agree with the others here suggesting CP for an MK day or fuller MK morning, and possibly doing a meal like GG or Akershus prior to your test track FP time. One thing I'd like to add is with your current plan, when you are leaving MK in a hurry to get to Epcot, you will be like a salmon swimming upstream against the huge crowds streaming into MK. Not a pleasant way to start your day.

In the past, when CP was a must do for us, we would schedule the earliest seating so we'd get into the park prior to opening, then be in a position to join others at rope drop. Now, we still enjoy breakfast at CP but do so at a later time, preferring to use those few early hours for knocking out some rides.

Soarin is a pretty calm ride. My 75 YO in-laws do it and they get sick on a lot of rides. If you can do TT, this should be easy.

I agree with the other posters, it is a lot of time changing parks. I know it is hard fitting everything you want to do in though or changing reservations.

I would leave MK by 10 to be safe. That should give you plenty of time as you can do TT until 11:30
