We want to watch the parade at AK then hop over to Epcot for dinner. Where should we sit for the parade, what time do we need to save our spots, any tips for using the transportation system over to Epcot, and what time would be good to make our PS for?

TIA, Calie

Sorry this will be during value season the week after Thanksgiving, probably Mon or Tues.

That all depends on when you'll be there?? Peak season you need to add lots more time than off season. :)

Starts at the Tusker House Gate at Harambe Village. It winds through Disney’s Animal Kingdom and returns to the Tusker House Gate. My guess is that you could sit on the Entrance side of the Tree of Life and still have it pass your way. I've never stayed to see the parade...so I'm not sure...

Deb's site says the parade lasts 15mins.(sounds short) but if you were near the front of the park. If you could head out of the park by 4:30 and catch a bus to the Yc/BC or BWV by 5pm you could be at World Showcase by 5:30pm. So, if your dinner ressies were for 6pm. I think you could do it...

The answer I got in chat was 20 minutes to watch parade, 20 minutes to get to the buses and you should be in WS by 5:45 so PS at 5:45-6:00 should work.

There is a direct bus from AK to Epcot. However, depending on where your PS is you may be better off catching the BC bus because you will enter Epcot in WS.

I would suggest making the ps for a bit later...like 6:30, just so you won't feel rushed. I tend to fill our days very tightly and while everyone else is having fun I am worrying about making the next scheduled event. I have no vowed to not do that anymore and to allow for a more leisurley pace....the worst that can happen is you get to enjoy the walk or boat ride to WS and then the wonderful ambiance of Epcot.

Have fun!
