I have LTT booked for dinner on P&P night and i planned on not using a park admission that day as it will be our resort day. However, i thought i booked it for 6pm but found out that it was booked for 4pm. so if we arrive at park and get in with admission for 4pm, and head to the restaurant right away, will they still hold our 4pm reservation? I cannot reschedule dinner at nothing until after 7:30 which we don't want. Could we arrive 10min late or should i try something else for dinner

I don't think there is any certain answer. I think with only being 10 minutes late, they will probably still honor it although you may have to wait on a table. We were late by 15 minutes to an ADR once and we had to go on standby and waited 90 minutes for a table. Since other people had ADR's behind us and to seat us before them would then have pushed them back too, we didn't mind as we realized it was our responsibility to be there on time.

I think it's up to you whether or not you feel it's worth the risk to perhaps not get your ADR.

Have you tried calling and moving your ADR to perhaps 15-20 minutes later?

You should be OK - I would say they are used to people being late. We were over an hour late for an ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe once - late flight from the airport - I called someone at Reservations and they told me to go ahead to WCC when we arrived and explain the situation. They were very nice and seated us within 10 minutes.

They will generally hold reservations for 10-15 minutes. You shouldn't have any problems if you get in right at 4.

That ADR thing is so weird.

On our last trip, cast member at the Plaza told us if your names on the list for a certain day, you can actualy show up anytime during that day and get right in.

herc.

Which may be true at the less popular Plaza, but is not likely the case at Princess meals where crying little girls are occasionally seen because the family was running fifteen minutes late and the reservations were given away. When we did our Princess meal there was a family arguing loudly with the hostess that, according to their watch they were only thirteen minutes late - the hostess had eighteen and had given away their table three minutes ago. They did not get seated.

Thanks for your suggestions, i did call and i think the earliest was 7:40pm. We did ask if they can start it for 4:15 but they said nothing available. So i will probably try the last week or so before to see if we can bump it back.

How long of a walk would it be to get from front to LTT. I figure i could run ahead. I really don't want to give up the reservation just yet.

Alright, so i called today and was able to reschedule for 4:30. The CM said they were wide open for the evening. Which is odd, because when i called yesterday they gave me the 7:40 pm. anyways, thanks for all the suggestions.

We were 10-15 minutes late to two reservations on our recent trip. One time we called ahead (Kona) as we were delayed at the airport. Both times we were seated within 10 min. Ironically one of our longest waits to be seated (over 25 minutes) was for a reservation that we were exactly on time for.
