how long will it take to walk from the WS entrance to Italy?

We have an ADR at 11:30 at via napoli and i am wondering if we will have time to ride Maelstrom on the way?

Just my DW and I.

IIRC, WS opens at 11. In that case, I wouldn't chance it. I'm guessing ~10-15 minutes to get from the entrance to Italy. Why rush the ride?

If you're waiting in Mexico for them to drop the rope at 11am and hustle to Maelstrom, you may have time before your ADR.

If Maelstrom is not walk on, you won't have time.

Scratch that...looking at a map, you probably won't have time, regardless.

Since World Showcase doesn't open untill 11:00 and Norway and Italy are not near each other you won't make it. Not to mention that at the end of the boat ride there is that movie and if the doors aren't open you will have to wait for that. Don't forget you are supposed to check-in for your ADR 10 min. ahead of the time you were given.

you will, however, have time to get a Maelstrom FP on your way past... although i'd save my FP for TT or MS!

Maelstrom FP I think I just peed my pants.

While I have no problem with the attraction at all, I think they only added FP to it to make it look like it was a major attraction and to boost Epcot's FP count.

although i have to admit, on our nov 2011 trip, Maelstrom was the longest wait we had anywhere 'cause i said "we don't need no stinkin' FP for that 'ride'" HAH!!! (and to make matters worse, the floor of the line was littered w/peanuts and my boys are allergic, so we literally carried the littlest one which made the line seem that.much.longer.
