How long will it take from MK parking to Space Mtn?

On Prez Day we will start at EPCOT but need to get to Space Mountain for a 7:35 FP. Is it sufficient to get to the parking lot at 5:00? I don't want to be sweating and running like a crazy man in fear of missing it. I assume that 30 minutes is sufficient from the Swan by car so that means leaving there at 4:30.

Enough time? Too much?

Can you not take the monorail from Epcot to MK?

Assuming your FP window opens at 7:35, yes, if you arrive at the MK parking lot by 5:00 you should be able to park, travel to TTC via tram or foot, cross the lagoon via ferry or monorail, pass through security, pass through ticket tapstiles, and walk to SM by 8:35. You should be able to make it even if your window closes at 7:35.

If taking the monorail, I'd allow for 30 min plus the walking time from MK entrance to Space Mountain (perhaps 10 minutes at most?). So...40 minutes.

If for some reason you need your car and decide to drive and park at MK, I'd allow 30-45 minutes that time of day to get from the car to the TTC and then to MK via ferry or monorail, plus the walking time. So...55 minutes at most?

If your FP starts at 7:35, you actually have until 8:35 (and probably 8:50 with a 15 minute grace period) to use it.

I think getting to the parking lot at MK at 5:00 is super early unless there are other things you'll be doing on your way to Space Mountain.

That time of day, I would think 45 min is enough time to get from parking lot to Space Mountain. 5:00 seems very early. Also, your fast pass is a 1 hour window, not a deadline, so please don't stress out about missing it.

But.....why drive?

You are planning to start at Epcot. Just take the Monorail over to MK. Or, if you wanted to go back to your hotel before MK, take the bus from the Swan.

I'd rather arrive before the 7:35 time and kill time on Main Street than arrive late and hit the back ends of my Space/Haunted/Thunder Fastpasses. We're leaving WDW after the evening at MK. I should probably stick to my original plan -- afternoon monorail from Epcot to MK and bus to Swan at midnight. (Some of you will have seen this in another thread)
