How long will Iphone 5 be sold out for?

I want to get the new iphone before our trip, but my upgrade is not until October 1st. What are the chances of me getting then?

The issue is that the OP is not eligible for an upgrade now. I believe that orders placed today won't ship for 2-3 weeks. Even if OP was eligible to order an upgrade today, the phone wouldn't arrive for several weeks. The chances of being able to walk in and get a phone at the Apple store or phone store on October 1 are probably slim to none.

Thank you just gave me a great idea. I am going to call sprint and hope they will let me upgrade early. I talk to our local radioshack and they will be getting it the 21st. So as long as Sprint allows it then I will be able to get it friday.

I know with AT&T they have always let me upgrade about a month early. Asking Sprint to do so and then going to your local Sprint store on the 21st is your best bet.

I agree. My husband just pre-ordered his last night and was given an estimated arrival date of October 5th.

I pre-ordered with Verizon on Saturday and was given an Oct 5th delivery date as well. My past experience with Verizon is that it will probably show up before that date.

Went to Sams and they said Walmart and Sams are the only ones that still have some. You can order them online. This was Saturday so they could be already sold out.

The Sam's Club website says the iPhone 5 will be available in the store Sept. 21. I would guess the number at each store will be limited

The iPad 3 preorders were "sold out." The Apple store here had enough and did not sell out. Once you place the order it is difficult to cancel it and get a subsidized upgrade. Can you go to a store on Fri 9/21? The stores will have phones for sale and you will have your phone for Disney (assuming you can get an early upgrade).
