How long will Disney Reservations be down?

Our online booking and payment options are temporarily unavailable due to magical enhancements to website and should be available later today. Our Technical Team is working as quickly as possible to complete the enhancements, but, we have not been given a time frame as to when these functions will be available online.

I agree. Prior to the reservation system going down, there were many many resorts and room types available for the week before and the week of Thanksgiving. Now, nothing. Absolutely nothing. I've tried the travel agent site as well as the Walt Disney World site. With guests not being able to book while it was down, meaning ALL of those rooms couldn't be booked, you wouldn't thik that the rooms would now be gone. I see two possible reasons: 1) the site is still screwy; or, 2) they pulled every single room from the promo (which I don't see them doing). The 2018 packages should be available to book a week or so from today so maybe they are still loading all the info into the system.
That's what I'm waiting for 2018 bookings! I'm so glad this isn't happening to me during crucial times like making ADRs or fast passes. I'd be freaking out! I feel for everyone. good luck

We (travel agents) were told that the 2018 packages/rates will be available for booking on the 20th.

I tried to book Hoop Dee Doo for our Thanksgiving meal. I had everything entered and then BAM, it said that they couldn't book dining reservations at that time. Now it shows that no availability for that night.
 
Got through to Disney, they have my dates available for the passholder discount, now just waiting on the "special" travel agent to change my booking. Ughhh....I don't think I'm good at giving up control to a travel agent. I put myself under way too much stress. Hahaha

I wouldn't stress too much, just because Disney sees availability doesn't mean 1) Disney could actually complete the booking and 2) that there is actual availability- there were reports of phantom availability and pricing yesterday.

They've been saying "later today" for four days. Today is the start of day 5.
 
On the website I can now see availability and pricing for Florida Residents, but there is zero for AP holders, so I am presuming there are parts of the websites database that are up and running but there isn't full integration as of yet. Hopefully really soon!

I can see it too. Even though I'm not a FL resident
 
So some people are seeing glitches of cheaper rates. I tried searching for rooms under the room only discount out for October and saw this:

I don't think there is any room at that hotel that comes close to that cost lol.
 
I was a Florida Resident for most of the weekend until I cleared my cache. I am holding out on the AP rates.
 
My travel agent got me rebooked with the passholder discount but my husbands first name is spelled wrong. It's always something...

We have two rooms booked and one confirmation number for both. Is that how it usually is? We have never had 2 rooms in all the 20+ visits to Disney.
