Ha quite the contrary. We got married on a Wednesday because his boss wouldn't let him have the weekend off. And now it stinks that everyone travels on our anniversary! And I work at a state park that has its busiest weekend on Memorial Day. But happy anniversary last month!

Dated almost exactly one year when we got engaged in Feb. 1998, married Sept 1998. It will be 15 years in a few months. The engagement time frame was partly due to my brother's location. He was living in China at the time but was going to be in the States that fall before leaving for a year in Mexico.

DH (now) .......were together dating (no engagement ring) for almost 4 years and then got married in the month of June on the same date we met 4 yrs previous.

First date was April 29, 1989.
DH proposed in August, 1989.
