To get a random sample of how long people spend in the parks. Please just consider your last visit. I would like to exstablish what tickets are purchased and how long the DLR area hotel stays are. If you have an AP please don't vote as many AP holders can drive to and from home in a day. Below is a link to my Annual Pass query. Thank You.

I have an AP but on our last visit I had the AP and the rest of the family each had the 14 day pass (that is just for Australian and New Zealand visitors)

Just a bump, because I'm sure their must be more people on DISboards who are not APs.

I usually get a 3 day hopper. I am upgrading on my upcoming trip to AP and live in Northern Calif. so I disagree with the comment that AP holders can go for the day and then go home. There has to be a lot of out of towners that hold AP's too but probably the biggest group is So Cal

We usually get whatever the special is... last time we got a 3 day because we stayed 3 nights and got a 4th free. This year we will get the 5 day for the price of 3.

I don't disagree that many out of towners have Annuals Passes. But I have read that the vast majority of Pass holders are of the Socal resident types.

The reason on AP holders not voting if they are SoCals is because they don't give a fair representation of people who make a big plan for trip to DLR.

I have only ever bought a 3 day park hopper and we have been to disneyland 6 times. This year I will be purchasing a 7 day park hopper for our trip in October. I hope there is enough to do for those 7 days. As we wont have a rental car so we will be stuck at the disneyland resort area.

3 days last May, at that time we upgraded to APs *our 2nd time doing that. For our trip this July I've already purchased 5 day PHs and for our Thanksgiving weekend trip I'll probably go with a 3 day PH.

I'm from San Diego and usually only stay one day at a time. It is too expensive to stay more than one night. I come up 4 or 5 times a year.

Disney doesn't sell 7 day PHs anymore unless you are from another country. 6 days is the max.

Usually we go for 5 days--that's what we're doing this year. But last year we went for 7 days. We got a 6 day PH and one 1-day ticket (to coincide with dd's free birthday entrance). It's the longest we've ever gone to DL straight through without going to any other parks or attractions.

Five days for us, however in three weeks we will be using six day hoppers. :goodvibes

Last time, we went four days. This time, we're going five, since there were a few things we didn't get to last time. (Of course, there were also things like Space Mountain that we did all too much! ;) )
