My wife and I was last at the world this past Nov.-Dec. 2002 for MVMCP. The time before that we went in Sept. 2000, which was just 2 years earlier. We look at next visiting in 2007 if we can even wait that long, the Disney majic is constantly hitting us to go back sooner. How many of you wait a couple to every 5 years or so to return? :earsboy: :earsgirl:

lets see... today is thursday... TOMORROW is our next visit!

we try to go for our anniversary, but we're making a special trip to celebvrate a friends graduation, and my wifes bday.

how often should you go?
as often as you can!

We were last there this past October and will be going again in December. We normally go every year but we don't have children yet. This will probably be our last trip for a few years (we want to try and start a family next year) and once our kids get old enough, we hope to go over 2 years or so.

I've gone every year since I started going in 98. I waited for my son to reach age 9; which I thought was the perfect age to start bringing him. I'd like to go twice a year. We could never wait 5 years!!! We leave in 10 days for CBR!!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

We went this past October MNSSHP on Halloween and we're going again this December for MVMCP (3rd time!)

Our first time was 1998, then we waited till 2000 (torture!) then we bought DVC (in 2000) and now we go yearly. If it wasn't for airfare, we'd go even more than once a year!!

i won't know how many days til i post this and see my countdown clock at the bottom; i'm guessing 176 days!

how often do we go? well, i've been to wdw several times over the years and the time in between trips has been as long as 14 years and as little as 9 months! i have to say that those first 10 visits or so were usually not my idea; they were either a family vacation as a kid ( i even opted to visit my grandparents once when my parents took the family to wdw in 75 or so), or visits to mom when she moved to orlando to be closer to mickey's house.

but, you know how the magic can sneak up on you when you're least expecting it? on our may 2002 trip, it got me! i don't know what happened, but it was like i was seeing wdw for the first time and i have been a problem ever since! my dh is so tired of hearing me talk about our february 03 trip, and even moreso about our november 03 trip (he doesn't get it yet!). at least i can come here to talk, and talk, and talk...about disney!

so, let's see how many days til we go again...

We used to wait a few years...honeymoon 95, then 98, then 00, but I found this site, I found out about discounts, and I got the bug bad. Weve since been in 01, 2 trips in 02, and see the countdown timers below. :D

And that was my senior band trip in high school. We played in the Gatorbowl, and took a day trip to MK. That was in Dec. 93.

I didn't make it back until Aug. 1999, and have taken a disney vacation every year since.

Our next trip is June 6-15.

<Script language='Javascript'>var rndNum = Math.floor(Math.random() * 10000);eval("var

CDTDate" + rndNum + " = 'June 6, 2003 5:00:00 PM CST';");document.writeln("<form

name='CDTform" + rndNum + "'

action='Javascript:void(0);'>");document.writeln;document.writeln("<input type=text value=''

size=40 name='WrittenByJamesMVenglarikII'>");document.writeln("</form>");if (theFunction)

theFunction += "var d = new Date();";else var theFunction = "var d = new

Date();";theFunction += "var c = new Date('" + eval("CDTDate" + rndNum) + "');";theFunction

+= "var diff = (c - d)/1000;";theFunction += "var days = Math.floor(diff /

86400);";theFunction += "var rem = diff - (days * 86400);";theFunction += "var hours =

Math.floor(rem / 3600);";theFunction += "rem = rem - (hours * 3600);";theFunction += "var

minutes = Math.floor(rem / 60);";theFunction += "rem = rem - (minutes * 60);";theFunction +=

"var seconds = Math.floor(rem);";theFunction += "if ((days < 0) | (hours < 0) | (minutes <

0) | (seconds < 0)) ";theFunction += "var out = 'See ya real soon!!! ';";theFunction +=

"else ";theFunction += "var out = ' ' + days + ' days ' + hours + ' hrs. ' + minutes + '

mins. ' + seconds + ' secs.';";theFunction += "document.forms.CDTform" + rndNum +

".elements.WrittenByJamesMVenglarikII.value = out;";setInterval(theFunction, 1000);</Script>

There is a year a and a half between our last trip-april 2002- and our next trip -Oct 2003- but before that our last visit was January 1989

I'll know for sure when I post this response but I believe it is somewhere around 95 days. We were at Disney in November (Thanksgiving week) and DH and I are doing the Disney cruise for our anniversary in November. We bought DVC in 2001 so we could go every year and that's pretty much our intention. Next year, we'll be at Hilton Head in November and I hope to be able to squeeze a cash trip in sometime next May.

I just love Disney and it's hard to explain to someone who has not been before or who just thinks of Disney as another destination to cross off their vacation list. Ideally, I would like to go to Disney every May (5 day trip) and Hilton Head every November (10 day trip). We don't have enough points for that but I can dream!

2 DAYS!!!!!!! :bounce:

This will probably be our last trip for a few years :( But once we have kids, it will probably be an every year thing :D

We leave in 15 days for CSR!

We go twice per year, and that's enough for us. :)

Well, if I could afford to do so, I'd go every year!!

10/90: Offsite (kids were 4y 10m, 2.5 y and pregnant w/#3)

03/93: Offsite (kids were 8y 3m, 4y 11m, and 2y 3m)

10/98: Honeymoon Offsite (no kids, 2nd marriage)

05/03: Offsite (with just youngest dd 4y 4m)

We're planning to return in April of 2005 when I'm finished with nursing school. Since I have 5 kids ages 17, 15, 12, 9, and 4 I will be saving like crazy to make this happen! I'm figuring about $6000 for a barebones trip staying offsite.

So my range is between 3 and 5 years, although we're trying to do this next one 2 years after my recent trip.

My DH and I went to Disney for our honeymoon in '97. We didn't return until '00, and our last trip was in '02. Our next trip is just a few months away, but I think we are making a habit of trying to go atleast every year. We are buying AP's this year, so MAYBE more than one trip is in the forecast!!

Don't know when the trip after the upcoming one might be, but check out my timer....

I've been at least once every year since 93, made about a half dozen trips before that, and will be headed back in 66 days!

DH is NOT a Disney person, so he & I haven't gone to WDW together since 2000, but this trip is just us!

It took over 35 years for my first trip and we have been for 3 straight years. Once your are bitten by the Disney bug its hard to fight as we have had the greatest vacations. We will take a break to allow some new things to open and time to save for the trip. We have other vacas planned for Canada and Virginia.

Our next visit, 14 days!!! I'm so excited. I realized that it takes a long time for a year to pass :(

Check out the countdown timer for the exact answer, but it is around 101 days.

We had a long gap between 1990 - 1997, but hadn't yet been bitten by the Disney "virus" !!!

But, now it's hard to imagine waiting five years. On the plus side, though, think how much time and fun will go into your planning!!
