How long until your next trip?

According to my ticker I have under 6 months finally!!

5mos 4wks 1 day to be exact. So just 1 day under 6mos haha but I'll take it.

It still seems SO far away though. I think it's because since it's an October trip it's technically when DS is in a new grade and has had a birthday so it just seems like it's actually "next year" even though it isn't.

If that makes any sense.

I am at Disneyland now,................countdown has the next time, which is June 2

I'll be in Disneyland/DCA next Wednesday for that one day only.

I am a bit disappointed that the hours are short and there's no fantasmic or fireworks that day. and the matterhorn is going to be down again like last year for that week. I guess it's supposed to be quiet there?

Wish it could be for longer but the main purpose is the World Vex Robotics Championships in Anaheim so I'm needed there to chaperone our teens and take the pictures for our small team.

I'm trying to look at it like at least I get one Disney day.

I don't think we'll make it this year, which makes me so sad. Summer 2014 is the plan (unless somebody leaves a bag of money on my doorstep). I miss the yearly visits when my kids were younger.

Guess I'll just have to come to the boards for my Disney fix!

Day trip in 18 days...maybe 20 days if I can figure out how to get another weekday off from work because I'll go on a Sunday, but I'd much rather have Tuesday crowds if possible.

We head to Walt Disney World for my twins' band competition in late May. I am hoping to go to Disneyland this Winter with the wife.

I know what you mean about October feeling like next year, new school year and right after my youngest DS's birthday - now I'm just wondering if a 3 year old will grow 2" in the next 6 months so he can ride some of the bigger kid rides he wants I know it is wishful thinking...

126 more days and counting until we activate our annual passports. After that visit already have another visit on the books for December 2013. And another for January 2014, March 2014 and June 2014. It will be the year of the Annual Passport.
