How long to walk from shuttle drop off to Goofy's kitchen?

We have PS for Goofy's kitchen on a Friday morning at 10 am (a non-park day for us). We are taking the ART from our hotel. Can anyone tell me where the ART drops us off, and how far it is to walk through DTD to the DL hotel and Goofy's Kitchen? We plan on doing some DTD browsing and shopping after brunch, but I'm trying to plan out when to leave the hotel beforehand.

About 10-15 minutes through DTD. Depends on how fast you walk.

Thanks DangerMouse, you're such a big help! We'll plan to get off the shuttle around 9:30 am then.

ART will drop you with all the other shuttles on the Harbor Blvd. side of Disneyland. The DLH is all the way on the other side through the Entry Plaza and DTD, as DangerMouse said. Be prepared to go thorugh security before entering the plaza so you may want to allow some time for that.

I think it took us about 20 min to walk from the shuttle drop off to Goofy's. That was with 2 kids, which we carried the entire way (so we could walk faster... we were almost late!). As another poster mentioned, you do have to go through security.
I would allow yourself 30 min to get there from the shuttle area so you don't have to be in a huge hurry.

Good to know, thanks. We'll try to catch the ART by 9 am and then will have some more time to get through security. Question though...if you go through security as you enter the plaza, do you then exit it on the other side and have to go through it again to get back to the shuttle site?

Yes, when leaving DTD and going through the esplanade again, you would have to go through bag check again.

I don't think so... I don't remember "exiting" through a security area. When we left Goofy's we took the shuttle back into the park.
But now that you mention it, it is weird that there is not a security check station at the other end of DTD, at least I don't remember that there was.... hmmmm....

There are two security stations. One leading to the esplanade from the DTD/M&F tram area and one leading to the esplanade area from the shuttle drop off area. So yes, you have to go through security twice.

Yes, the monorail will drop you off very close to the DLH. About 3 minutes to get to Goofy's from there.
