How long to walk around World Showcase?

I'm trying to decide what time to make a reservation for Biergarten. We'll be having lunch at Coral Reef then going to The Seas, Nemo, Turtle Talk. We should be done there around 2:30 ish, then we'll start walking around World Showcase counter clockwise so that we get to Germany around dinner. I'm assuming we'll spend more time in some pavilions than others. We'll have 4 kids ages 4-8 and don't want to back track but continue around world showcase. Any estimates as to a good time for dinner?

Thanks!!

I'd not worry so much about how long it will take you to walk (and sight-see) the distance, but how much time it will take you to
be ready to actually sit down and dine on a second (rather filling) table-service meal at Biergarten...
after eating the full meal at Coral Reef that same day at lunch.

Once that is known, you can time your walking/sight-seeing to hit that reservation.

Good point! I was more worried about being completely off on timing and either ending up rushing through some pavilions, or getting to Germany with a bunch of time to spare. I've only been to EPCOT once as a young teenager and don't remember much. Your point does make me lean toward a later dinner rather than earlier though. Thanks!

It would be a simple matter to just stop your tour of WS about 20 minutes, or so, before your reservation at Germany, and head straight to the restaurant.
After dining there, you can head back and pick up where you left off.

ETA: If you make your Biergarten reservation for about 7:00-7:15PM, you will be out with about enough time to find a spot to enjoy IllumiNations, which starts at 9PM.

Another plan might be to forego the heavy Biergarten meal on that evening and just sample some snacks
from the various pavilions of World Showcase and just
keep touring until time to find a spot for IllumiNations.

I don't think there's any way anyone can give you an estimate. Some families can do it in a couple of hours, other families (like mine) need a lot more time. Last time, it took us about 14 hours (and we still had to rush through at the end.)

Oh my goodness! If I was by myself, I'm sure I could spend 14 hours browsing and enjoying every detail! Add in energetic and adventurous hubby and 4 kiddos, and I have no idea how our stroll will look ;)

If it looks like you're going to get to Germany too soon, you can always have the kids do one of the Agent P adventures.

We probably took about 6 hours to get around the whole WS in January, and that was with a 4 yo and my shop-aholic mom.

Turns out Biergarten only had a 5:30 available anyway (even though the website was showing many more options, but is not working today so I ended up calling), so I took that and moved up our lunch reservation to 11:30. Yay for putting so much thought into something only to have it figured out for me in the end :)

Thanks for the input!
