How long to wait for a call-back from guide?

We called our guide yesterday morning to ask a very important question regarding an add-on. We still have yet to hear back from him. We cannot sign our papers until we hear from him because his answer is a make or break answer and will decide for us if we go through with the add-on. How long do we wait until we call and ask for someone else?

I waited 9 days to hear from my rep on one occassion and it frustrated the hell out of me. I called to talk with someone else and they said only your guide can assist you with this question. I pushed hard but they are reluctant to intercede.:rotfl2:

If you have papers in hand, I would call Quality Assurance. They often can get you an answer quicker than your guide.
 
Yup -- I agree with SSRFred - - call Contract Administration and explain the situation to them and that you need to get your questions answered before you will sign your contract. If they direct you back to your Guide, ask for one of the salesmanagers. Good luck!
 

Well, one time me and my guide played phone tag for about a week, then he finally said I will call on this date at this time. So I stayed home, waited, and waited and then three weeks later he called me back. Then this last time I told him to give me a call Sunday at 2 to finalize everything, he called at 5. I guess they are busy and take the no pressure selling to the extreme.

Well, we will be asking for a new guide. My story about what is going on is in a different thread but we were either lied to, or he does not know what he is talking about because he promised something that he cannot deliver as far as I can tell. That and all our paperwork has the wrong address on it and I even went over our new address with him before I told him to go ahead and do the add-on. I think when your spending this much money, they should be paying attention to what they are doing.

I think that the most I would wait for my guide to return my call is two days, and only if those two days were his days off (I know my guide does not work Thursday/Friday).

Given what is going on with you, I might call and ask someone if they can at least tell you if he is working today or not. If he is, then I would leave him a message that you expect a phone call back today.

If you don't hear from him, then I would call and ask for a supervisor. They should at least be able to confirm for you whether or not you should be getting those 2008 points. And then, I might just ask for a new guide as well.

Well I ended up calling quailty assurance to ask them and then told me they could not answer my question but would send an e-mail to him asking him to call back, that we are waiting for an answer on our 2008 points.
