How long to travel from Hollywood Studios to Disney Springs on a Disney bus?

How much time should we allow to travel from HS to DS on the Disney bus transportation. We have a dining reservation at DS and need to figure out when to leave HS.
Where is the Disney Springs bus located at HS ?

Actual travel time? About 10 minutes from park to Disney Springs.

Actual entire travel time including waiting for a bus? I'd leave about 45 min prior to when you want to actually be at Disney Springs. When we've used Disney Transportation, it seems more common to have to wait awhile.

The buses are in front of HS toward the left side if you're looking from the entrance of HS

While it's probably only about a 15 minute ride I would allow 1 hour door to door. You never know if you just missed the bus until you get to the bus loading area. If you have an ADR, it's better to be a few minutes early than 20 minutes late.

If you remember where the old bus stops were, the new location is on the opposite side (West Side) of DS.

There is no bus that goes directly from HS to DS (from any park). What I usually do is walk to the boardwalk and take a DS bus from there or take a bus to Sarasota springs and walk from there to DS. You could also take any resort bus that comes first and take a bus from there to DS

That changed last year. Now there are Disney Springs buses from all parks after 4pm.

Yes they just added buses from all the parks to Disney Springs but no buses back to the parks.

Just throwing it out there that depending on your family size, a rideshare service like Lyft is going to be cheap and way faster.

So the buses don't start from the parks until 4 pm? We were hoping to go from AK to Disney Springs for lunch.

Edited to say I found my answer on another thread. Bummer, guess we will have to bus it to a resort from AK, then grab a bus to Disney Springs.

If you take the bus to AKL, it is a really quick ride, and then you can hop the bus to DS.
