We bought a 2 day 2 park ticket to Universal while we are staying at Disney for a week. What are everyone's opinions about how long to properly take in universal- is 2 days enough? Are there any attractions or strategies in particular that we should consider over others to get the most while we are there?

Personally I find more to do at Universal than Islands. I'd hit the studio on the first day, the IOA on day two, and if you get done there early, head back to Universal for a do-over on your favorites there.

I agree that there is more to do in Universal than IOA nowadays. A lot depends on the ages in your group too though.

It does sound like you're not staying onsite so follow the basic rules you would use at WDW. Get to Universal when it opens, plan a strategy to see what you want to see the most and hit the popular rides first. You can buy an Express pass thing but I'm not sure just yet what that's all about.
