How long does it take to see and do everything at Universal Hollywood? We are trying to decide if we can also go to the La Brea Tarpits and museum on the same day we do Universal (thus leaving more DL time!!!).
I was there about 18 years ago and I'm sure it has changed alot. As I recall, we didn't spend all day, but I know more rides have been added, so don't have a feel for much much time we need.
TIA!!

You can probably do them both in one day. The only problem may be fitting in everything at Universal. The tar pits never take us more than an hour or two. If you like to read everything, it may take a while longer. Universal doesn't have fast pass so you may get stuck in some long lines for the big attractions like The Mummy Returns and Jurassic Park.

Good luck.

Actually Universal does have "Fastpass" it's just that it isn't free. I think the cost of a regular admission is like $50 and for a "Fastpass" admission it's $75. I'm not sure if it's unlimited fastpass or once per attraction/ride. as far as how long it will take, I think it depends on the time of year too, summer will naturally be more busy.

That also depends if you want to be able to see and do everything at Universal or just hit the "highlights". I think the Jurassic Park ride is fantastic!! I would go on it several times if I could. I also think the Mummy ride is awesome but it wouldn't bother me to miss some of the shows either.

and don't forget there's the citywalk, that's right outside of universal! but that could be an evening stroll/dinner type thing, to wrap up your outing, i guess. have fun! :flower:
