How long to schedule for...?

I am trying to plan my family's trip to Seaworld, but have no idea how much time to allot for our Dining with Shamu lunch. Also, how far in advance can I call to make my reservation? Any help would be appreciated!

Bumping. Has anyone done Dine with Shamu?

I'm not sure about your booking question (we've done Dine with Shamu 3 times and twice we booked the same day, the other time it was about a week in advance) but lunch should take around an hour. It's a buffet so its really a matter of how quickly your family eats/how long they want to watch the orca swim around. The 'show' part of the meal will be over by 30-40minutes after everyone is seated (there won't be 'show' that entire time).
