Hi everyone!

We finally jumped in and purchased DVC points while on our recent cruise. :thumbsup2

I am dying to get online and check out the DVC member site for more information, but we haven't received our "one-time" access code yet. How long does is usually take, and did you receive it via e-mail, or snail mail?

BTW, we signed the closing paperwork on the ship on 6/13/2013.

Thanks!

If you already have your member number, call the number for Member Services and select option 1 then 6 (tech support). They can assist you with getting on the member website.

Do you have to have the closing paper work signed or have officially closed?

It would be convenient to have access to the site, but I have not filled out the documents yet, nor have I totally paid.

We do have the closing documents, we signed them while still on the ship.

I will try and call Member Services tomorrow, thanks for the info!

I guess I will have to wait a little longer. Rats!

I called Member Services this morning and they said my contract will officially close on July 13th. I should receive the access code after the 13th. Don't they realize I am dying to get on the site to explore? :rotfl2:

Thanks for the help!

You have to wait to close before you can get your login. I think they give you 10 days or 2 weeks to change your mind so that is what takes the time because they can't close until that has passed.

I am dying here too :) And we have only put down our deposit! Member services was supposed to call me with the reservation #. They'd better send out our fancy paperwork soon I am so so excited to sign :)

We could form a support group for everyone waiting for their code :rotfl2:

Sign me up for the support group....I want to look around on the site as well! Now that I am going out of town they might hold my papers until I get back so that they don't end up laying on my front porch until I get back :sad2:

OMG, I got my activation code today! I was able to log on to the site and dig around :cool1: I know what will keep me busy this weekend...

What was pricing like on the cruise? Any special offers? What home resort did you purchase?

We bought at AKV-Kidani. The other options were Aulani and VGF. We considered VGF, but they were not offering any incentives, and it was priced at $150.

With a $10 off per point incentive, we paid $135 per point. We also got a $1000 shipboard credit.

We may decide to add some more points, since we are really interested in purchasing at a couple of the sold out resorts :thumbsup2
