How Long to Get to Soaring through the International Gateway?

We will be staying at BCV next week and obviously plan to visit Epcot. My son really loves Soaring and I was wondering how soon we would be allowed to enter Epcot through the International Gateway and how long it would take us to get to Soaring if we are walking at a medium pace.

I know this could go in the Park's forum but I think more people in this area will have a direct experience that can answer my question.

The Gateway opens at the same time as the front gate. It'll take about 5 minutes to get there.

We were at the rope waiting with everyone else on our last trip, entering from IG (in January). The rope on that side is next to the fountain and we were actually first behind the CMs walking to Soarin - we were closer than the people on the rope on the FW entrance side, I guess.
