How long to get into Harry Potter?

So what time should we arrive and what order of rides would you recommend DH and I do? We plan on being their the first week in November.

I really would love your opinion on how you would do your day in universal.

We really don't plan a thing when we got to Universal. Seriously. You only need to decide a few things. Do you want to do the water rides or not. Do you want to do Wizarding World first or not.

Normally, we just decide whether we are turning left or right when we enter the parks and go from there.

I was concerned about what I read about not all the rides being open when the pars opens. I don't want to have to back track to a ride cause it was not open when we got there.

Can you recommend a direction or rides to do first so we won't run into late opening rides? Thanks.

I think opening with the park at 9am now at Universal are HRRR, Shrek, Jimmy Neutron, MIB, and Simpsons... Twister, Disaster, Jaws, and T2 at 10am, I believe, while KidZone opens at 11am.

Not sure if HRRR will be up running again by the time you go, but if the above list times are right, you can see where they are located on the map on Universal's website. Perhaps someone that is going to the parks now can let us know if the rides and times are correct.

Do Wizarding World of Harry Potter first. After you have done that, do Jurassic Park, and then continue to head in that direction and keep going. By the time you are finsihed at IOA, even if you skip Popeye and Ripsaw, everything will be open at for you. Finish IOA with Poseidan's Fury and then head out to Universal. Both IOA and Universal are big circles.

If Rockit is open, do it first.
Shrek
Jimmy Neutron
Mummy

then go back to Boulangerie and have a snack

Twister
Mummy again
Disaster
Jaws

grab some lunch at Finnegan's

Mummy again
Men In Black a few times
Simpsons
ET
Horror Make Up Show
Terminator

I would check times for Horror Make Up Show and Terminator and do whichever one is on first since they both have times. The Animal Actors Show also has a time, so you can look at those three and figure out when you want to go. They are all quite close together.

After this, I would go and reride Mummy and MIB until you are tired of them.


Here is how I would do the IOA day arriving at 9 am

Go to WWoHP

Do FJ regular line
Do FJ singles line
Flight of the Hippogriff
Dragons if you like
look in all the shops and perhaps Ollivander's if you are interested and the line isn't crazy

Jurrasic Park Discovery Centre
Jurrasic Park River Adventure
Wander through Jurassic Park playground ... very cool place

Bactrack and do lunch at Mythos or Three Broomsticks

Poisiden's Fury
High in the Sky Trolley
One Fish Two Fish --- make sure you listen and follow the instructions in the song
Cat in the Hat
Hulk if you want
Storm Force
Dr. Doom
Spiderman

the two water rides if you are interested

Back into Wizarding World to do FJ once more

Redo any other rides that you really liked or check out the times for Sinbad Show.
