How long to get in the system??

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I wanted to know from those that have recently bought resale and closed, and are waiting to get into the system. I know they say it can take 7-10 days, but does it REALLY take that long? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! TIA!!!

We closed on 3/18. We are still waiting. I'm going to try and call back again this afternoon. It's frustrating because we wanted to book at BWV for October before the 7 month window opened up - no such luck. :sad2:

I saw on another thread that you have your membership numbers, but not your points? Is that correct? I would think that if you have your number, then your points would be there too.:confused3 Very interesting. You'll have to keep me posted.

When the member services rep gave us the Member ID#, we were told that our points would be deposited the next day. Then, we called and they weren't so our TSS rep called Disney to see what was up. He was told that the girl who does the point "depositing" was out Friday, Monday and called in sick Tuesday and to have us call back on Wednesday. I called, no points. Called again this morning, still no points. I am going to try again this afternoon.

According to our TSS rep, it's two separate actions to be in the system and be able to make reservations. It's really giving my DH and I a headache.:headache: I'll keep you posted.

Ok. That's good to know. If you don't mind me asking, who are you working with at TSS? You can PM me if you would rather not post it here.
 
We are going through the same thing....we closed with TSS on 3/13...disney says we are in the system but no pts...its making us very nervous b/c we go to disney the week of july 4 and we can't make our ressie without our pts being deposited yet:mad: they just keep telling us to try back....our TSS rep said if we wasn't all in by friday to call her back and she would see what she could do...hopefully it will be done SOON!! Wow! This no point thing is scaring me. I plan on closing in April and hope to have my points with my account number. :scared1: How often does this happen?

Tink - It stinks to be us but thank heavens we aren't alone! I'm so aggravated that we can't make reservations either. You have been waiting longer though. Praying that it goes through for both of us soon. We may just have to go on our vacation without using the points - shame on Disney!

Tammy - According to what we've been told it's two separate actions on Disney's end. One to "transfer" the contract and one to "deposit" the points. Good luck!

Tink - CALL! CALL! CALL! Our points went in this afternoon! YAY! I made our reservations for our upcoming trips too - WOOHOO!
 
We received our member number 5 days after we closed this month. Our points were in the system 2 days after that.

7 days from closing to making our first reservation.:goodvibes

Must admit though, the waiting was awful!!:eek:
 
our points are in....somtime around 2:40 today.....made our first reservation....good luck to all!!:cheer2:
