We have an ADR at Ohana on December 15th at 5:10. Our flight arrives at MCO at 9:30. We figure we will check in to our resort and head to MK for a bit eat at Ohana and then either go back to MK (open until 10pm) or visit DTD. I am just wondering how long I should give us to get from MK to Ohana for our ADR.

I would allow 30-45 minutes from the time you pass through the MK turnstiles. The issue is that this is a slower time of year and the boats and monorails are not as frequent.

Enjoy!

I'd give it a generous 45 minutes. Take either the monorail or resort launch. It shouldn't be too crowded at that time if the park is open til 10pm.

From our experiences, more people seem to use the monorail over the boat launch and the boat tends to be a bit quicker (and a nicer experience) - especially if there's a crowd waiting for the monorail.

I would definitely allow at least 45 mins. Ohana is a place where if you are 1 min late they won't seat you. Unfortunately we found this out from experience.
There is always such a line of walk-ups and people trying to check in, that can make you "late". Ohana opens at 5pm, so people that don't have a ressie line up at 4:30 trying to get in, so you will want to be in that line at 4:30. Or you run the risk of being called a no show.

It's not going to take you that long to actually get to Ohana, but you will want to be there 30 minutes before your reservation. I would leave 45 minutes total before your reservation time. The monorail and boat run frequently, however as the PP said, you do not want to be late for your reservation there. This will give you an opportunity to check in with the hostess and not feel rushed.

Have a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

What's up wit people saying you have to be there 30 mins early and if you're 1 minute late they wont seat you? We've checked in a few minutes late more than once and never had a problem being seated.

My DS18 and I were on the resort monorail last August heading back to the Poly chatting with a family heading to 'Ohana for dinner. The monorail was stopped constantly for some kind of problem up ahead and they ended up being late for their reservation.

My feeling is it is better to be safe. While the trip to the Poly is normally 15 minutes tops I would agree that you should leave around 45 minutes.

As for what to do after dinner, MK and Wishes all the way!!

I agree. I have never been there 30 minutes before either and I have never had a problem.
