How long to get from Fantasmic to Sci-Fi?

How long should we allot to get from the mass of humanity at Fantasmic to the Sci Fi care for a late dinner?

And please remind me- is there still a conventional “grace period” for lateness? We’ve never been late to an ADR before (I’m pretty much the motto if you’re early you’re on time and if you’re on time you’re late)…but would be nice to know in case we are cutting it close.

It depends on where you sit for fantasmic. If you sit top right side (facing stage) you might get out faster than other areas. They sometimes route traffic out a back way (but sometimes don’t so idk how they are going to do it). If you get trapped it will take awhile to get out of the sea of humanity. Often times once it hits the area that leads to the exit most people continue out and you will be able to go the other way but it could take a long time to fight your way to the adr. I can’t give an estimate sorry. I have never timed my exit from the show. Considering we try to sit front and center it takes us a long time to get out.

At one point they had staggered showing of Fantasmic followed by StarWars fireworks. Something like 8:30p Fantasmic (25 minute show) and 9pm fireworks. We were able to quickly make it over by the theatre area to see the fireworks after the show let out but as the previous poster mentioned, we were seated near top right which is closest to exit. If able to do that, then I’d estimate 10-15 minutes to get over to Sci-Fi.

I would allow 30 minutes - it will give you enough time to get over there without feeling stressed.

I would agree that where you sit has a major impact. I would also assume a reasonable grace period as long as the restaurant is still open. If you are worried skip out a bit before the end.

Seat location is everything.

NOTE that it's been put out there the show is longer than before, now approx 29 minutes.

Will also depend on if there is a show happening in front of theater you will have to get through crowd.

If your late , you will be fine.

They empty the arena from the back and front.
I think the front is faster and easier.
I agree 30 minutes is about right.
