How long to get Disney rewards Card from Visa?

Hi guys we are wanting to use are reward dollars at Disney. How long will it take to process when I call? Worst Case--- How long? We leave Jan 20th.

I think it took about 2 weeks to get our Rewards card in the mail. When I called they actually gave me the date it was supposed to arrive and it was pretty accurate.

They have to send you a card in the mail (it looks like a credit card), then, whenever you call and ask them they transfer your points instantly to the card so that you can use it. Call now to get the card ASAP, then before you leave make sure they transfer all available points. Have fun!

My card took about a week to arrive, and I transferred the points the same day.

Ours came pretty quickly. They gave us an estimated date that it would arrive and it was pretty accurate.

The Disney Rewards can be used anywhere you can use Disney Dollars including hotel rooms, shows, restaurants, shopping and even at the Disney Store in my mall.

Here's a tip that works for me, I've had the card a few years now.

Because they won't let you transfer less than the minimum (I think it's 20) and can transfer immediately once you have the card in hand I never transfer all I have at 1 time. I always keep the minimum sitting in my account until I'm actually at WDW so no $ go unspent during my trip. EG: suppose I have 50 points, I'll transfer $30 & leave $20 sitting there in case I get a few more during the following billing period.. The $20 minimum guarantees I will be able to transfer when I want to so if I get $5 more I can move it ASAP.

Last year we had a problem trying to get the disney dollars on my card. After several calls weeks before the trip, and still problems, they (Visa Rewards dept) suggested I go to Downtown Disney Visa desk once I get there. They gave me a new card and there are phones in the area to use to active the card and have the disney dollars added to the card.

My husbands was here in just over a week, about 5 days earlier than the estimated date they gave him on the phone.
