How long to get deposit refund for cancelled room?

I had an AoA reservation booked for June 16-20 that was forcibly cancelled (obviously). I haven't seen the deposit returned to my CC yet. Just wondering how long that will take and when I should look for it. I just don't want to forget about it and make sure I get it back.

Did you cancel or did you wait for them to cancel?

I have heard that if you let them cancel it, it takes longer. When I cancelled my package, the refunds were processed within 24-48 hours.

I cancelled my July 14 res and money was back on my card in 2 days

I canceled our July 7-15 package a few days ago, and as of tonight we've only gotten a refund for a couple of the payments we made. Still waiting on the other 75% of the package to be refunded.

We cancelled a trip ourselves and our deposit was returned to the card in about 4 days.

I let them cancel .. I was figuring if I left it in the system and let them cancel, that maybe I'd get some sort of guest recovery --- like a "please come back in 2021 with this discount" .. but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I just am out of luck and still waiting on my deposit to be refunded (a week later now)

From my march trip it was being refunded via giftcard and it took about 13 days..
They told me there was a backup 7-14 days..
