It has been about 8 weeks since we closed on our OKW resale. How long did it take you to get your deed? Just wondering if I should check on it. Have any of you had trouble getting membership cards?Disney said they issued cards about 7 weeks ago but we never received them. Now it will be 4-6 more weeks. I really want them before our trip the end of July to show for discounts. Thanks.

Our first resale closed July 2000 - we received the deed within 6 weeks and the membership cards within a month.

Our second resale closed November 2001 (didn't take us long to get more points, did it? :D ) and we just received the deed about 2 weeks ago. Things appear to be that much more backed up than they were for our first purchase in 2000.

Our second resale has a different use year than the first, so we also have another set of cards. The first set they sent us were for our first contract. We called and requested they send the correct ones. The second set they sent were also for our first contract, but with a different Member Since date. Called again. Third time we finally got the cards for the correct contract. Then we got another set for our first contract with yet another Member Since date. I've given up calling the Quality Assurance people on this because QA seems to be an oxymoron in this instance.

As long as they have our point totals correct, that's all I really care about. :)

We closed on our OKW resale mid-April. Had our deed in hand about three weeks later and our Member cards (and guide book) shortly thereafter.

Also, had a message on our answering machine (on MEMORIAL DAY!) from QA checking to see if we had received member book and cards.

Now we just have to figure out when to use those points....
:D
