How long to defrost a cooks spiral sliced ham?

I got a great deal at Thanksgiving on a spiral sliced ham and with encouragement from Dis members I decided to freeze it and use for Christmas dinner. Does anyone know when I should take it out of freezer and put in fridge? I've never frozen anything that large before and wasn't sure. TIA

You take out freezer now and let throw and the fridge slowly.

It usually take 24-48 hours thawing in the fridge.

OK, I took it out 24 hours ago and it's still a huge block of ice! PLEASE tell me this ham will be fine for Christmas dinner. I have never frozen anything this large and have never frozen a ham before!

How big is it? I have a four pound spiral sliced. I took it out of the freezer this morning.

You can take it out and thaw for a few hours in the sink, just don't leave it out too long, then place back in the fridge to finish thawing.
