Hypothetically speaking of course, (well, maybe realistically), if I speak with my guide tomorrow & decide to buy, how long does closing take?

Realizing I'm in NJ & all the paperwork will be shipped here. Is May a good estimate of closing?

Probably sooner as it is rather quick process on direct purchase; they'll even make your first ressie for you too once deposit is made, you don't even need to wait until closing.

Our closing date on our VGC points at DLR is estimated to be May 18th (per our documents). Our deposit was paid on Mar 25th. SO, if the same kind of timing logic were applied to your situation and you were to meet tomorrow and put down your deposit, I'd guess that your estimated closing date should be about 7 weeks from now, or around May 30th - June 6th. Note that this can change based on variables outside your control. As I look back on our original contract and our other add-on, the timing was in the 7-8 weeks range as well from paying the deposit to actual closing. Then we didn't receive our recorded documents or title insurance in the mail for another several weeks.

BUT your points will be available to make reservations within 24-48 hours of Disney receiving your deposit, once they get your contract entered into the system and you get your member information and ID for the member website. You don't have to wait til closing to be able to make that first reservation!

I won't be in WDW to purchase, can I do everything via mail & phone? Will this delay anything?

Also, they pulled my credit in March, they won't pull it again, will they? My score is 804 & I don't want to go any lower.

No it shouldn't delay anything. Yes you can do it all by phone. I don't see why they would pull your credit again, if you've already started down the road with your guide - but be sure to ask to be certain, it should just be picking up where you left off.

Unless your state prohibits this type of transaction ( some states do but I'd think your guide would have already informed you of this ) then everything can be done via phone / mail. Don't know answer on credit check, you may want to ask guide.
