How long to check in?

We're planning on using the online check in so that it's quicker when we get there. We'll be arriving early Sunday morning (before RD) so I'm trying to time everything out a bit. How long does check in usually take at Pop Century when you've already done the online check in?

Also, when we come back in the afternoon to actually get our room, will that take very long? I know this depends on lines but just trying to get an idea... thanks!

It depends on how many other people did on line check in and are there at the same time you want to check in. My experiance is that it doesn't take long at all.
When you check in at the on line check in location they will give you your KTTW card and will assign your room to it. So when it is ready they can send you a text and then you can go straight to the room no need to go back to the front dest.

I've done online check in the last couple years and it's super painless. Both times I've been able to walk right up to the special Online Check in agent, they get my folder with maps/KTTWC and we settle up payment if there is any due and if you want to add room charge to the cards they will do that. Since you are getting there before check in (before noon even) chances are your room won't be ready so you will have the option to either be texted or called with your room number once it's ready. It should take no more than 15-20 mins to check in, possibly less.

Last year we did the on-line check-in for Coronado Springs. We were last in line in a bus-load of people, so we kind of grimaced when we saw the check-in line. But then we were directed to a desk with no line by one of the resort's cast members! We were done checking in after about 3 minutes, far quicker than the first people off the bus! Of course, this isn't Pop, but even if you are in the back of the line at Pop, you may have a similar experience.

When I arrived at POP in July, we got off the bus and a CM was standing at the entrance waiting for us with our folder and directed us to our room. We didn't have to stay on line at all! I don't know if it was because I was celebrating my birthday, or it was just a slow day. But it was a nice surprise.
