How long to check in at Poly

I was wondering if there is usualy a long wait to check in at the Polynesion. Last time we stayed at the All star Movie and checking in took forever. We are going the end of June.

The longest line we've waited in was at POR. That one took about 45 minutes! Check-in at the Polynesian last August took about 20 minutes, start to finish. We only waited in line for about 8 minutes. But then again, it only took us about 20 minutes to check into AllStarMusic last Dec. I think it all depends on what time you're checking in.

At 3 the line is pretty busy and the lobby is hopping with people. We usually check in before noon. Last august it took us 20 minutes from start to finish and that was even after I waited for the great cm at the desk Juan to find us our perfect room, samoa 1602. Beware: look out for the lady with redish hair. She does tend to be a bit more businesslike and to the point. I just saw her again in april, but this time we were only eating at kona. I like a more cheerful cast member. Theres a fun bald headed guy there. I am sorry but I forgot his name. His enthusiasim is contagious. He makes you feel like you will have a zip a dee do dah day.

It's been over a year since we checked in at the lobby desk, (always do concierge check in now) and I think we had that guy too.
But my favorite bald guy at the Poly is Laird, the valet guy; he's gorgeous. Yeah, baby. Laird. *drool*
I told my dh he should start shaving his head so he will look like Laird. Laird remembers us every time since I flirt shamelessly with him.....now he's trying to help me get dh to shave it off too.....

Oh, and he's a very fun and efficient CM too.

the last two times we went we checked into Poly on a Friday in June (both times). Took a good half-hour.
