DBF and I have been discussing having a Disney wedding, but we don't want a big drawn out deal. We have a few questions:
- How far in advance do you have to try to book a date?
- Do you give them several options and they tell you which one is available?
- What is the smallest package to look at?
The Memories Collection is the smallest package, available through April 2012 - I believe you can book 6 months out for this package. When we called to book we already had our trip planned and gave them the dates - they weren't booking for the Saturday of our trip because 10/10/10 was that weekend and it was going to be busy so they let us do it on the Friday (even though the website says they are held Saturdays and Sundays only), which was actually better for us because we were leaving on Sunday morning so we still had a day to enjoy after the Vow Renewal. I'd give them your first choice of time/date/location and then have a back-up or two in mind just in case. Good luck!
