How long to board MDE

We are flying in the evening before our stay at SSR. We are staying at the Hyatt for the night and want to use MDE the next morning. Is this possible? Or will we need to make other arrangement?

Not a problem, lots of folks do that to avoid the expense of a Disney resort on a throwaway night.

However, do not attach your DME yellow luggage tags to your checked bags. You will have to claim them yourself from the carousel and take to your room at the Hyatt. (I've read the Hyatt may be able to pick up luggage for guests, for a fee, but you should call and check if you are interested).

The next morning, go to the DME counter in Terminal B, Level 1 and you will be directed to your motor coach to SSR. Any luggage will be stored in the bus cargo bins, so don't forget to claim them when you arrive at your resort.

Simply make your advance Magical Express reservation for morning of your check in day at roughly the time you will be down at the welcoming area ready to go to your resort.

To speed up the reservation process, have in mind a flight, any flight, any airline, arriving in Orlando at about that time. The DME reservationist CM may or may not ask for that.

It is not necessary to have your magic bands (bracelets) or My Disney Experience or on line check in done in advance for this.
