We wanted to be out before the fireworks that start at 8:45. Have a reservation for 7:00. We don’t care to be in front of the castle just some place we can see them.
Will we have enough time?

I’d give myself 15 minutes to walk from Liberty Square to a viewing spot. That gives you an hour and a half to be seated, eat, and pay the bill; sounds doable!

Their reservations seem to be seated late (as in 20-30 minutes). Every time we have gone, this has been our experience. This meal is served family style (they serve as much as you like) - just ask for more. I would say allow 75-90 minutes for eating.

You will be able to see the fireworks, but Happily Ever After has projections on the front of the castle. You won't see any of the projections.

Where would you see the projections? On Main Street near Casey’s?

You can check in (I think) 20 minutes early. They're currently seating (most?) people in Diamond Horseshoe for more of a cafeteria-style meal. That combined with the family-style meal I think means you should be able to get seated, eat as quickly as you need/want to, and get out to see the fireworks in time.

Being seated late is what I figured 🙄. We are going to MK another night so it’s ok if we don’t see the projections

Sorry to hijack thread. Can we request to sit in LTT and not Diamond Horseshoe?

The closer you can stand near "the hub" the better. To view the entire projection, you want to be somewhere that you can see the whole (or as much as possible) of the castle.
