I spoke to my guide yesterday. I can't go on the list yet, because I haven't closed on my original contract. But, he did check to see if he had June YU BWV's available and he had 2- I need 50-60.

We went on the waitlist for 60 BWV August use year points on Feb. 15. They were in our account on March 6, and I made a reservation with those newly banked points on March 7.

So all in all, only a 3 week wait. Yeah!!

As some of you know, I have been the "chart keeper" for this wait list since Feb 04 when I was anxiously also waiting for my own add on.
Its time to pass on this duty and if anyone is interested in keeping it up...please pm me.

I am thinking of giving it a year and then giving up and going re-sale a different use year. I wonder if it's difficult to get my $ back. DVC really needs to do some BCV ROFR for us!

Trust me...Sept UY's are very tough..Go on BOTH wait lists and see which one comes up first. My wait was 11 mos., 12 days..Disney came thru!!
This suggestion was given to me in 05...BY MY DVC GUIDE!!

senecabeach, given that you were on the waitlist for such a long time, was there a price increase for points during your wait period and if so, did you have to pay the new, higher price or did they give the points to you at the price that they were going for at the time that you added your name to the waitlist? I know there was a discussion about this either on this thread or another (I've lost track now) however there were some mixed responses and I thought that I'd check with someone who has been through the process more recently. Thanks!
