How long to actually get DVA gift cards mailed?

Hey all, when you've "cashed out" your Disney Vacation Account, how long did it take you to get your balance put on a gift card and mailed to you? I know the website says allow 4-6 weeks, did it actually take that long? The reason I ask is I called last week and asked to have the gift card sent out, the rep said she would pass that along "to the gift card team" and they would get it mailed out, but when I log in to my account it still shows my balance as available. Granted, it's only been 8 days since I've called, but I thought they would have at least pulled the balance out by now to put on the gift card, even if they didn't mail it yet. We aren't leaving for our trip until 2/25, so it's not urgent - I just don't want to be a pest calling to check the status so soon, but also a little paranoid the request wasn't put through and we won't get the card in time! Just wondering what others experiences were. Thanks!

They usually don't send them out until closer to your trip. I think I got mine 4 weeks before our trip. Some have reported to receive them days before their trip. It's not when you request it but when your trip is rather.
